"Maid" The Odyssey

Title: Maid
Author: Sabine
Fandom: The Odyssey
Rating: PG
Summary: The punishment of an unfaithful maid. In pentameter! [not iambic. :(]
Warnings: Ummmm....... implied rape, implied death. Yeeeeeeeaah. :I
Disclaimer: Do I LOOK like an ancient Greek man?? Oooh, the correct answer was NO!

Stone cold marble rests in broken heartache.

Turning, I stand from where I was seated
before he came into the room. His eyes
glow with a fire that burns my very flesh.
I cannot stand to look at him. The night
is silent, absence of sound in my ears.

There is nothing for me now. I am through.
The master has been absent since before
my very birth. His fertile wife lies still.
There is nothing for me now. Here. This night.

His feet close the distance between him and
the table. He pulls back the chair and leans,
reclining on stolen furniture. I
cannot bring myself to summon anger,
indignation. I do not care enough.
There is nothing in this gilded palace.

He calls for wine. The fire is burning,
but it will go out soon. I stand, face him.

"Sir, you will not be upset if I beg
leave? Hurry to feetch wood and kindling? I
must keep this fire alive. It must live."

His burning eyes harden. They are like stone.

"Wine," he repeats, "i desire wine. You
must get wine!"

I bend low in docility. My hair,
flaxen waves of gold with which I have been
cursed, fall from improperly done pins. My
hair, the beacon with which I call desire,
unwanted attention, falls to the dirt
floor.

His eyes turn still colder, if that is
even possible. he stops clamoring
for wine, but I can see a different
desire blossoming in his ice cold
eyes.

"Such a loose maid, to let her hair fall from
grace in front of a man of such power.
It could be taken from your actions, that
you seek something and care nothing of the
proper rules. Is there anything I can
do to help?"

His voice is silky, sliding
Like greased leather drawn down a slaves back, then
flung backwards to lash down on sunburnt skin.
Soft and smooth, with consequences that burn.
There is nothing left for me, I am through.
They will fine nothing but bones when this is
over.

I take in a breath and let it out.
He approaches, the screech of the chair, put
back. His heavy feet padding on brown dust.
There is nothing I can do now. Nothing.

The room is small, and we all crowd inside.
It's too warm, and it starts to smell. Trapped in
a room, with all these other women. They
start to sweat, unknown judgment being dealt
outside. Life is short now, I can feel it.

There is left. Nothing anywhere.

Blood. There's blood left. Covering everything.
And men, many men, with their mouths stained with
red. There's something left, but there's nothing for
me here.

I know I will not stay for long. The ones
left, stand with anger, and face us with hate
written upon their faces. We are through.

My shift is stained, my arms ache. My heart is gone.
I have locked it away with the rest of
me. They will find only thin, yellowed bones.

The rope, stiff with blood, comes to hang around
my throat. There is nothing for me here. No.

"Lightning and Fire" CrAz

Title: Lightning and Fire
Author: Sabine
For: Anneko
Fandom: Good Omens
Pairing: Aziraphale/Crowley
Rating: M
Summary: Pure smut. No plot. WHO NEEDS A PLOT??
Warnings: Umm. Mansecks. Yeeeah. And the F-Bomb (I don't mean Factoring).
Disclaimer Nope. Don't own Heaven. Don't own Hell. That Would Be Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Who also own my life, by the by.

Electricity crackled over porcelain white skin, blue bolts zipping up and down the length of the man’s body. Soon they grew greedy and he threw back his head as the azure lightning reached out to include the tanned man inside the sizzling storm.

They twined together, tan and white, mixing like coffee and cream, melding like toffee and vanilla. The hissing, lapis lazuli whirlwind paused as a firestorm appeared out of thin air. But just as soon they were together, a mass of white heat, searing the skin off of the two men’s shoulders, leaping into the night air as great white and black wings sprouted from the tangled lovers backs, unfolding, releasing themselves.

The Angel’s lips opened slightly, and the Snake’s slitted pupils dilated. He leaned forwards, covering the pale man’s mouth with his own, licking, sucking on the lower fold. His right hand tweaked the Angel’s nipple, the other fisting in his blonde curls.

The golden haired man’s eyes opened and he gazed at the Snake, whose eyes had shut as the kiss had become more passionate. Aziraphale pulled Crowley closer to him, holding the man up as he wriggled.

“Sssssssssss’good.” The Demon hissed, talented tongue sliding skillfully over the skin at the base of Aziraphale’s neck.

The Angel moaned, revering in the feel of Crowley’s tongue on his collarbone, the ways his mouth caressed his shoulder, his neck, bursting blood vessels and leaving marks. He thrust against the Snake’s thigh.

The Demon almost choked. His tricky hands slid down to rest on Aziraphale’s slim hips as the man bucked and drove. He hissed at the Angel and the man’s movements suddenly stopped, mid thrust. Long tan fingers ran their way down a pale thigh, and Crowley’s breath hitched, as the Angel cried out into the night, moaning, voice low with lust.

He pushed Aziraphale down onto the singed sheets, hugging the man’s shoulders, pressing his face against the white chest, smelling the luxurious odor of parchment and verbena, marzipan and honey. He smiled and sank down into the other man’s lap, gasping as the Angel’s length entered him, burning red hot, branding him.

Aziraphale watched the Snake, impaling himself upon him, whimpering as he rocked back and forth. The Demon pulled the Angel up for a kiss, nipping his lips and drawing blood. He lapped at the ruby liquid, tongue dancing over mouth and tongue. He kept rocking.

The pale man’s eyes shut tightly, his mouth opened wide, head thrown back. His wings unfolded, wrapping themselves around Crowley, as Aziraphale reached up and wrapped his delicate hand around the darker man’s length, stroking up and down in time to the Demon’s movements.

The Snake shook, his eyes opened, his head fell to his chest. He tensed and tightened around the Angel, who stiffened in time. They both fell over the brink, tripping into the deep well of pleasure that lay there.

“Oh!”

“Fucking lord!”

They lay together, wings covering and protecting exposed bodies, dark and light feathers resting on coffee and snow colored skin.

The marks that Crowley had left on Aziraphale’s neck started to fade, skin healing itself before the Demon’s very eyes.

“Don’t do that.”

“Hmm?”

“Don’t get rid of them. I want to know tomorrow that you’re not ashamed. I want everyone to know that you’re mine”

The Angel chuckled and the marks reappeared. He leaned down and nipped at the Snake’s neck. “And everyone should know that you are mine as well.”
******************************************

A/N: For Anneko, because I promised another. And the Doc fics rocked.

"Bored" Chapter 01 of "Looking For Fun in All the Right Places"

Title: Bored (01)
Series: Looking For Fun in All the Right Places
Author: Sabine
Fandoms: Doctor Who & Torchwood
Characters: the Doctor, Jack, Owen, Gwen, Tosh, Ianto, and OC: Anne
Rating:G
Summary: The Doc's bored, so he decides to visit Torchwood in search of fun
Warnings: Ummm... I can't think of any... Jack's bi?
Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or Doctor Who, but if I owned David Tennant I would make him play with Zachary Quinto (NO SLEEPING BOYS *whip crack* GET BACK TO FROLICKING!!)

Captain Jack Harkness was a reasonable man. He’d done reasonably insane things for love, he’d defied reason and death on multiple occasions, he’d thrown caution and reason to the wind in the face of danger. Yes, Jack Harkness was a reasonable man.

So when his team of ACSIs (Alien Crime Scene Investigators) pulled guns on a grinning man who was occupied patting the head of their pet Pterodactyl, Captain Harkness did the only reasonable thing he could do. He laughed.

“Jack, old boy, pleasure to see you again!” The man nodded and his brown hair flopped up and down. Gwen’s lips twitched involuntarily into a smile, and Tosh inwardly thought that the man looked ridiculous.

Jack laughed again. “Doctor.”

Gwen’s head whipped around and she stared at Jack, her eyes widening. She said nothing but the Captain could see her mouth moving over the words, “the right kind of doctor…”

“How’d you get in here?” growled Owen, still holding his gun pointing at the brown haired man. “We locked up when we left, and we come back and you’re here. How’d you get in?”

The man ceased petting the crown of the Pterodactyl’s beak, and stood up. Ianto took a step back and Owen raised his gun further into the air.

The man was tall and lean, and Jack took in the sight of him, seeing him again after many years. He stared at him, running his eyes from the Chucks on the man’s feet, to the square glasses perched on the tip of his nose.

“Well Jack?” The man cocked his head cheekily, “Aren’t you going to introduce me to your friends?”

“No.” Jack deadpanned, “I think I’ll let Owen here take you out and then Ianto will make it seem like it never happened. Meanwhile, Tosh will be looking up everything about you, and Gwen and I will be having a drink. Yes, that’ll do fine, I think.”

The man rolled his eyes, “Okay ‘Face’, enough with the jokes. I was just around, so I thought I’d stop in for a visit. The old girl’s charging up on the Rift as we speak.” The man rubbed his hands together, “So… Gwen was it? What made you want to work with the notorious Face of Boh?”

Gwen’s face was puzzled, but as she opened her mouth to speak Jack cut in. “Yes, well, thank you Doctor. I guess I will introduce you now. Owen, Tosh, Gwen, Ianto, this is the Doctor. Remember when I disappeared for a couple of days?”

“More like a couple of months,” Owen grumbled, grimacing and putting away his gun.

“Actually, it was only a couple of weeks,” chimed in Ianto, smiling at Jack and finishing, “Sir.”

“Yes, thank you Ianto. Anyway, when I disappeared, I went…. went on an… adventure, for lack of better word, with this man, and a young woman named Martha. And before Torchwood, I went on another… well, more than one really, ‘adventure’ with the Doctor, and a girl named Rose. Yeah, we go back.”

“Way back.” The Doctor agreed with a chuckle.

********************************************************

A while later, Gwen, the Doctor, and Jack were having tea. Well, Gwen and the Doctor were having tea anyway. Jack was drinking strong black coffee, and talking enough to drive a mother hen insane.

“So, after all that, we’re in the TARDIS, and then I hear a knock, so I open the door, and there’s this black guy, totally normal human. And I’m like, who are you? And he’s all like, who are you?”

The Doctor and Jack were cracking up, one man leaning on the table and clutching his stomach, the other wiping tears out of his eyes while laughing loud and deep.

Gwen giggles nervously. She didn’t really find this as funny as the other two seem to.

“So, Doctor,” Jack finally said, after the two of them had gotten themselves together, “Why are you here? I know you said the TARDIS is charging, but why visit? The last time you tried to leave as soon as possible, and wouldn’t even stop the thing when I was hanging onto the outside!”

“Well, to tell the truth,” the Doctor traced the grain of Jack’s desk, looking a little sheepish, “I’m bored.”

“Bored.”

“Yeah.”

“Bored.”

“Um-hum. You see, Martha left, and then it all went pear-”

Jack interrupted him, leaning forward over the desk. “Bored.”

The taller man sighed and looked at Gwen, shrugging his shoulders. “What’s a Time Lord to do?”

“Time Lor-?”

“Forget I said that.” The man sighs again and glances pleadingly at Jack before turning away again.

“You have a ship that will let you travel through space and time, you are in your tenth regeneration, hundreds of hot women are tripping over their feet to be with you-”

“Not that many.” The Doctor protested, frowning.

“And you’re bored.” Jack continued on as if the Doctor hadn’t said anything. “Well, I’m not going with you, and you can’t have any of my staff. They’re mine, and I’m not lending them out to you because you’re ‘bored’”. Jack crossed his arms and frowned at the Doctor. Gwen was reminded of her father when he scolded her for being impractical and spoiled.

“Fine.” The tall man huffed, and then a mischievous smile graced his handsome face. “Gwen,” he said, turning to her.

“No.” Jack didn’t even look up from his coffee.

“What?”

“You can’t have her. She’s staying here. When I’m gone she’s taking over.” He glanced up at her then, and nodded at her astonished face.

“Fine!” The Doctor whined. I’ll go looking for fun somewhere else then I guess…”

And that’s when Anne peeked her head into Jack’s office. “Pizza for Captain Jack Harkness.”
***************************************************

A/N: Yaaay! Moving on in fandoms and actually writing. w00t!!

The Doctor is being a whiny bitch.

Title: Worry
Author: Sabine
Fandom: Heroes
Pairing: Matt/Mohinder
Rating: PG
Summary: 'Hinder's been delayed and someone's concerned... and doesn't Molly know it.
Warnings: mxm kiss? is that something to warn about??
Disclaimer: I do not own Heroes, and am not making any money. Not off this, or anything. :(

The door creaked open, the sound reverberating through Matt Parkman’s tiny apartment. At any other time the noise would have made Matt roll his eyes and wonder why he hadn’t oiled the hinges yet, but this time he didn’t. He’d been sitting at the kitchen table for the past three hours, tracing a finger shakily over the worn wooden rings, trying to clear his mind of all thought.

At the opening of the door he jumped up, eyes wide and fingers splayed. He stared hard at the haggard figure wearily pushing the door closed behind him.

“Where were you!? You told me you’d be home over two hours ago!” Matt gesticulated wildly, painting frustrated pictures in the air.

“Relax Parkman, calm down. Bob had me stay a little later than usual. There were some…. complications.” Mohinder’s eyebrows furrowed.

“Oh great, now you even sound like them!” Parkman shouted, advancing on Suresh as the slighter man protested.

“I do not. Get a grip on yourself Matt. What’s going on? You’re so wound up…”

Mohinder trailed off as the cop slumped, his face turned to the ground.

“I just… I just think too much, y’know? You’re so trusting, and… and, I just don’t want you to get hurt.”

Mohinder smiled and wrapped his arms around the man. “It’s nice to know you worry about me.”

“I don’t worry!” Parkman spluttered, “I just… I’m just trying to keep you safe. I know you couldn’t do it on your own.”

Suresh grinned and caressed Matt’s chin. “That’s called worry, love.”

He leaned in, their lips meeting, and all of the sudden Matt was no longer the fretful, indignant cop that he had been. Instead, he was a man in love, being held in the arms of his wholly intact partner, the anxiety seeping out of him with each second.

“Ahem. If you’re both done already.”

Matt whipped around and Mohinder just chuckled. Molly stood there in her nightgown, hands on her hips, right foot tapping.

“Isn’t it someone’s bedtime?” Suresh asked teasingly.

“Yes, Matt’s. He’s been sitting up for you for hours. You’d better put him to bed and stop keeping me up.” She shook her head, grinning, her brown hair flying.

“As you wish Ms. Walker.” Mohinder laughed. Matt was blushing.

“Oh, get over it Matt. You think I didn’t know?” Molly chuckled and Matt blushed even more.

Molly walked over to Mohinder and hugged him. “I really did miss you though.”

“Me too.” Suresh bent down to hug her back. “I’m sorry for being late.”

“S’okay.” Molly pecked the geneticist on the cheek and then drew back, turning to Matt. “You need to get to bed. And stop blushing.” She went over and hugged him too.

“Sure.” Matt smiled sheepishly. “Now I think we all need to go to sleep.”

“Hear, hear.” agreed Mohinder

**********************************************

A/N: Hey, look at that. My first fic! Yay!

Molly kicks ass. ;}

Invocation

Hey! Sabine here with a little intro to my new journal.

I love to write. I love to read. I love novels, poetry, epics, and *ahem* fanfiction. My eyes thirst for words.

So, here I am, trying to make a promise to myself. With witnesses of course.

For everything I read, I will write. No more procrastination! No! I will pen those thoughts, and not stop halfway because it doesn't feel good enough. I will!

Because we as writers control the world. Or, at least, OUR worlds. We burn our own bridges, fudge our own details, and raise our own characters (they don't hatch full born you know!). We set those ships out to sea, fire the first shot (that just MIGHT be heard around our world), save the first wounded. We take life and give it.

WE make the rules. And we break them.

So I would just like to say, it will be done. This decree will not stand alone. This journal will not be empty! Even if I can't keep a physical journal, I will keep a digital one! I will!

Thank you.

-Sabine
